If you’re a fashion lover, you’ve definitely heard of Love, Bonito, the leading Singapore based retail e-commerce site. Recently, they’ve just launched their second pop-up store here in Malaysia at Paradigm Mall. The pop-up store will run for six months until May 2017. The Paradigm Mall pop-up store features the latest fall/winter collection that consists of utilitarian style clothes in dark hues that are still feminine and chic, staying true to Love, Bonito’s brand DNA. Throughout the six-month period, the brand will introduce festive collections during the Christmas and Chinese New Year periods.
I was there to attend the launch and love the inspiring session of Love, Bonito’s brand “Empowering Confidence Through Style”. Together with Love, Bonito founders Rachel Lim and Viola Tan, three influential Malaysian women entrepreneurs; jazz singer and yogi Atilia Haron, shoe connoisseur Nelissa Hilman and Woman on the Rise award winner Zaida Ibrahim were invited to shared their personal experiences in life and business. It was great to hear from them as it truly encourages us to dream big and never give up no matter how tough it is!
Apart from that, we were treated to fun on ground activities such as illustration booth by local fashion illustrator Fikri Afif, Impressed juice bar by Zaida Ibrahim to personalised bath bomb trifles by Wunderbath to name a few.
Since the arrival of Love, Bonito on Malaysian shores back in October 2014 with their pop-up store in Publika, the brand has since opened its doors to their first ever flagship store last June (2015) at Mid Valley Megamall. The forward-thinking brand has gradually expanded their regional footprint by opening pop-up stores in Indonesia and has opened their very first flagship store in Cambodia in November.
The brand has also worked collaboratively with famed Indonesian fashion designer Tex Saverio and Singaporean yogi Liv Lo to produce capsule collections. This year, they released a celebrated line of Chinese New Year and Modest Wear collection during the festive seasons in Malaysia. Prices for Love, Bonito’s collection starts from RM115 and above. Customers can purchase the collection online at www.lovebonito.com. Happy shopping ladies!
