Sauces are added to enhance the flavor of the dish. Resulting in a pot of mouth-watering food that’s flavorful and delicious!
PROSPERITY LOU SANG
To kick start our review, we tossed to a fruitful and fortune year ahead with the Prosperity Lou Sang. This Lou Sang tasted so good with its juicy fruity flavours and tangy sweet sauce.
SIMMER HUANG OCTOPUS – RM20
Perfectly grilled succulent baby octopus with potato vermicelli and cherry tomatoes was really appetizing. Dip the baby octopus into the sauce made with ginger, soy sauce, red chilli to enhance the tasty flavor!

This is the first time I tried fragrant crunchy peanuts soaked in vinegar. Take a bite of the peanut and the burst of flavors is simple addictive.

Assorted fresh slices of mushroom with cucumbers and tossed with sesame seeds are really refreshing.
At Simmer Huang, the highlight would definitely be the Three Sauce Simmer Pot that comes with assorted vegetables, meats, seafood and cook together with herbs. Each pot is unique as there’s different ingredients packed together. Besides that, there are 4 types of sauces to choose from original, spicy, hot & spicy and soy. This hot pot can be shared among 2 -4 pax.
ASSORTED SEAFOOD POT WITH CLASSIC SAUCE – RM130
A variety of fresh greens topped with white prawns, cod fillets, cuttlefish and oyster.
Using the original sauce its simmer for about 10 minutes before it’s served. Open it and the scent of herbs mixed with fresh seafood is certainly aromatic. This sauce is thick and sweet, perfectly suited for adults and kids alike.
PORK & FUNGUS POT WITH SPICY SAUCE – RM110
I prefer this pot as personally I like the kick of spiciness in this pot. My table is filled with foodies who love spicy food and we requested a few rounds to topped up the spicy level 😀
This delicious pot comes with a generous serving of pork belly, black fungus, oyster mushroom and king oyster mushroom.
At Simmer Huang, a waiter or waitress will assist in preparing the hot pot. When the sauce thickens just inform the waiter/ waitress and they will assist to pour in more soup. The best part of this hot pot is it can be used to steamboat as well. Just add more soup and let it boil then add on those side condiments.
ADD ON SIDE DISHES

HUI LAU SAN DESSERT
MANGO FEAST – RM15
A trio combination of mango desserts featuring mango with breaded crumbs icy cubes, coconut mango jelly ice shave and mango with tong yuen ice shave.
