This month be prepared for a mouth-watering gastronomical Journey of Taste as Pavilion KL presents a mouth-watering food and drink festival. From now until 30 October 2018, Journey of Taste invites shoppers to embark on a delectable food journey with special dining menus, chef appearances, pop-ups and tantalizing promotions across more than 10,000 delightful dining and food choices at over 150 outlets.
We get a chance to sample all those delights, at the media preview held last week. It was truly a foodie adventure trail with various delicious stops throughout the 9 levels of the mall to experience a slice of the diverse F&B offerings. Our first stop brings us to Paul, the famous French Bakery Restaurant is well known to served freshly baked breads, sandwiches, tarts and many more.
Next, we headed to Krispy Kreme to sample a variety of smacking delicious sweet donuts. Our next stop was Sanoook, the first F&B concept in town serving Thai and Japanese cuisines. There we enjoyed their signature dish Mango Salad. Thirsty for a drink, we headed over to ACME Bar to sample a refreshing glass of watermelon mocktail with delish strawberry tarts. Ooh..I must say the mirror room at Acme Bar is definitely instaworthy!
For those who are on a diet, grab your favorite Fish Bowl that’s not only healthy but tasty to boot. By then our stomach was almost full, but we’ve still got several stops to go *wink*. If you love something soupy then head over to Grand Imperial, you’ll fall in love with their hearty bowl of ‘la mian’. We also stopped by BBQ Nation and enjoyed their grill skewers (psst…it’s a sumptuous buffet spread).
Of course, not to be missed is also a stop at Nasi Lemak Ong, the restaurant is super famous in Alor Setar for their Nasi Kandar. One must try their charcoal roti canai that’s extremely crispy together with their special Teh Tarik. Last but not least, a good meal must always end with desserts. We found our way to Dip N Dip and enjoyed delectable premium chocolate desserts!
It was truly a foodie’s dream as we indulged in a variety of delectable food and beverages till our heart’s content. With over 150 F&B outlets, dedicated gourmet hall, spacious restaurants with private rooms and a VIP Dining concierge, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur offers experiential dining options for all occasions and across all age groups. The 1st Louis XIII Mathusalem decanter is on display throughout Journey of Taste; view this exquisite masterpiece made by Baccarat that has taken the skills of 20 master craftsmen to produce.
Yoga & Pilates Active Living Day with Lorna Jane (13 October | 10am – 12.30pm | Main Entrance, Level 3)
If you’re a yogi with a taste for healthy food – hurry and register for this exciting event in conjunction with National Sports Day. Enjoy a yoga session with Julie Rhee and a pilates session with Julia Vanderdrift.
