Last week Sunday, I attended the most amazing fitness party ever! It was my first time attending Kettlebowl’s 3rd Birthday together with Sun Life Malaysia. Waking up early, I headed to Copper Mansion to meet up with fitness kakis for some great workout session. If you’re not aware, the event was also held in conjunction of World’s Health day too!

Kettlebowl’s 3rd Birthday

There were tons of people joining the fitness party which I estimate about 500 participants. Two fitness sessions was held. One was a unique collaboration between 3 extremely talented yogis (Tissie Chan, Nor Soraya & Sandra Woo). While the other was Pop Pilates, HIIT, Boxing and Dance led by Maybelline, Chloe and Shaggy.

Sun Life Malaysia’ SunActiv App

At the event, I get to explore about Sun Life Malaysia. If you’re unaware, Sun Life Malaysia is committed to empowering Malaysians to live healthier lives through a variety of outreach initiatives. After understanding more about their objectives, I installed the Sun Life Malaysia’ SunActiv App. It gives rewards when you link it with your steps apps. Quite excited to see what rewards is available in the app. Time to start walking more…
Brighter Lives Bike

Before the fitness session begin, I climbed unto Sun Life Malaysia’s Brighter Lives Bike. Sun Life Malaysia collaborated with Biji-Biji, a social enterprise dedicated to create awareness on energy consumption and promote green energy. The Brighter Lives Bike is an embodiment of these awareness campaign by Biji-Biji. The power bikes will convert kinetic energy into electrical energy and store into a portable power battery. This battery will be donated to the less privileged. Kudos for that effort!
Release: Rise as ONE

The first session started at 9am and is very much dedicated to all the yogis in the house. Truly admire the talents of the 3 gurus (Tissie Chan, Nor Soraya & Sandra Woo). They showcased their different styles of practice in 90-minutes. It was truly a rejuvenation journey of mind, body and soul.

SYNC: Move as ONE

Next, is my favorite session which kick starts at 11am. This is a 90-minute session combining Pop Pilates, HIIT, boxing and dance led by Maybelline, Chloe and Shaggy. Three difference disciplines in one super intense sweat party. There were the killer squats, core abs focus, leg and arms toning! I could feel my muscles aching in protest but I continue on. We end it with a super fun dance party!

Legacy Challenge

For athletes, they can participate in the Legacy Challenge. There’s rowing, jump squats, weight lifting and cycling involved. The crowd were supporting their athlete friends from the side and it was crazily intense!
After all the workout, one has got to be hungry. There were tons of booth available for us to shop and eat in a healthy way *wink*. You can get healthy ice cream, cold brew tea, poke bowl, fitness wear and many more at a discounted rate! It was definitely an awesome experience for me.
