Bloggers Day Out - Ohara Matsuri @ Citta Mall

Today, was such a fun day for me! Together with several other bloggers, we attended the Blogger’s Day Out-Ohara Matsuri event at Citta Mall. Are you excited to find out what we did today? Follow me to find out more 😀

Upon arrival, we headed to Jombali to gathered for a quick drink plus briefing. Do any of you know the meaning of ‘Ohara Matsuri’? Well, it actually means Autumn Festival in Japan. This is a celebrative festival in Japan, where people gathered to have fun and experience Japanese culture. We’re one of the lucky few to be given a preview of the exciting activities happening this weekend!

Must try the famous Ice Kacang at Jombali. — Must try the famous creamy Ice Kacang topped with a scoop of Vanilla ice cream at Jombali.

Finishing our yummy Ice Kacang, we then headed off for our first pit stop. Here, we are checking out one of the popular beauty parlour in Citta Mall – A Beauty Secret Studio. This is one of the fun activity organised by Citta Mall before we check out the ‘Ohara Matsuri’ event decor.

A Beauty Secret Studio has been operating in Citta Mall for more than 5 years with more customers growing each year. They provide services such as hair cuts and treatments, nail arts, massages and facials. The salon uses mostly products from Japan such as Milbon and Lebel. One thing to note – this beauty parlour caters to Malay market by using Inglot’s nail polish from Arab that’s halal-certified. As for their massages, they’ve also included some health therapeutic massages such as lymphatic and ovarium massages. Truly a one-stop beauty center where you can enjoy the day away!

It’s time for dinner and to match the theme of ‘Ohari Matsuri’, we had Japanese cuisine at Tokyo Kitchen.

Tokyo Kitchen serves fresh and tantalising Japanese cuisines such as sashimi, bento sets, teppanyaki and many more. Their speciality is their Cheese Bake Maki Roll Set which is serve pipping hot. Another plus factor is that this Japanese restaurant is ‘pork free’ as well.

Finishing our dinner, its time to us to check out the ‘Ohari Matsuri’ decor. This is the main highlight of the day!

Welcome to Citta Mall Snowman Village. Here we can select our favourite Japanese Traditional yukata (a traditional apparel worn during Autumn Festival) to snap pictures against the beautifully depicted Japan Village decor complete with brightly lighted snowman for a Christmas feel.

You can also dress up in this gorgeous yukata by heading over to Citta Mall and participating in their ‘Ohara Matsuri’ event. There are tons of activities line up for adults and children alike to have fun throughout the day. Details as follows:

I also loved the Trick Art Photography, where you can do creative poses and snap some 3D pictures.

Before we depart from Citta Mall, we swing by for a quick supper at iYakimono for some hot Takoyaki.

It was certainly fun to pose and take pictures at every nook and corner of the ‘Ohari Matsuri’ decor. I just can’t wait for the actual event happening this weekend as there’s so much more activities available.
