Every year I’m amazed with the beautiful Christmas holiday gift sets by The Body Shop. This year, I’m totally blown away as they’ve prepared 88 holiday gift sets for us to choose from. No wonder it’s called The Body Shop Wildest Christmas Ever!
Apart from celebrating their 40th Anniversary and revealing their holiday gift sets for 2016, they’ve also announced their dedication to campaigning against animal testing. With each holiday gift set sold it’ll go into restoring 1-square meter of the rainforest and the protection of the endangered animals in the forest. This year, the fund will be donated to Bio Bridges. The Bio-Bridge programme aims to regenerate and reconnects corridors between healthy rainforests, linking isolated and endangered animals such as Sumatran Tigers, Asian Elephants, Malayan Tigers and Sumatran Orangutans, allowing them to again breed and thrive.
When shopping at The Body Shop, choose to opt out of the paper bags and the brand will donate RM0.50 but if you insist on the paper bag , then you’ll be donating RM0.50 to the cause. So, let’s all try to support the cause yea 😀
This year 88 holiday gift set collections are made from their best sellers as well as introducing some new bodycare scents and range such as Vanilla Chai, Frosted Berries and Spiced Apple.
Spiced Apple
Just loved the freshness of spiced Apple using cold-pressed apple seed oil from the Alps. The aromatic freshly baked apples is warmed with notes of cinnamon and freshened with the crispness of orange and white flowers for a deliciously fragrant blend. This is the scent that I preferred from the newly introduced bodycare range.
Vanilla Chai
If you loved ‘Vanilla Chai Coffee’ then you’ll go crazy with this scent. Hand-picked vanilla from Madagascar gives warm and inviting rich scents that envelops the senses. Creamy milk and addictive vanilla are peppered with notes of warm cinnamon, cardamom and sweetened with brown sugar for a fragrance your skin will love to drink in.
Frosted Berries
Berries lovers will definitely love this range of Frosted Berries with cranberries from North America. Irresistibly juicy with balancing fresh notes of cranberry, blackcurrant and raspberry with white flowers, creamy praline and sweet vanilla, it makes for a truly beautiful berry blend.
