Always wondered how it feels like to attend Cannes? I was lucky to have this wonderful opportunity to experience Cannes with L’oreal Paris Color Riche Intense Volume Matte Slim Collection launching! The experiential event was held at the Aurum Theatre at The Gardens Mall is not only the first of its kind but also a prestigious moment for L’Oréal Paris as they launched the new lipstick collection on the red carpet.
As an official partner of the Cannes Film Festival for 26 years, L’Oréal Paris continues their effort to reaffirm its long-standing commitment in supporting women in cinema, arts & culture while bringing its beauty expertise at the forefront of the festival. Continuing its legacy and shared universal vision of beauty, L’Oréal Paris in partnership with the French Alliances Malaysia and French Festival 2023, is bringing you the “Cannes Experience” here in Kuala Lumpur.
The event was glamorous with red carpet walkways decorated with cinematic displays for celebrities and influencer to snap pictures. Guests were also given the opportunity to have their makeup done and test the products on display. The iconic skincare, makeup, and hair products that made waves among the celebrities and guests on the red carpet at the Festival de Cannes were the L’Oréal Paris Hyaluronic Acid Range, L’Oréal Paris Color Riche Intense Volume Matte Lipstick, L’Oréal Paris Infallible Fresh Wear Powder and L’Oréal Paris Extraordinary Oil
Now, the highlight was L’Oréal Paris’s latest innovation, the Colour Riche Intense Volume Matte Collection. The new collection has intensely pigmented shades, luxurious powdering matte finishing; promising 16-hours of long wear colors and infused with Hyaluronic Acid. This is the ultimate lipstick that moisturizes but also one that doesn’t cause lips to crack under pressure. Got to say, the shades looks absolutely marvelous!!
After the launch, we ended the night with an exclusive screening of “All Your Faces” by award-winning female director, Jeanne Herry. You might not know that the Festival de Cannes witnessed many star-studded moments that celebrated global cinema achievements and international filmmakers in the past year. The prestigious event was a testament to the important role of female leaders in the cinema and an honour to their ever-lasting contributions in front as well as behind the scenes.
It was truly a fantabulous evening as we celebrate together with L’Oréal Paris.
