One night after dinner, my family and I decided to hold a coffee drinking session at Coffee Ink. Stepping into the cafe, the first thing you notice was the decor. A mixed of art paintings, photo framing the walls and small rounded down lights display artfully to put you at ease.
I was naturally elected to place order at the counter which looks edgy with its minimalist and eco-friendly boxed concept. Check out the cute monster cookie drawing on the counter. Upon asking, I was informed that one of the owners is an artist and most of the paintings on the wall is also done by him. Apart from serving coffee and cakes, they offered selected main dishes as well such as big breakfast, grilled chicken, salads and etc.
Here are my orders for the day – Caffe Latte, Flat White, French Rose, Hazelnut Choc and Baileys Cheesecake. I opted for French Rose tea reason being I can’t take coffee at night otherwise I won’t be able sleep.

Taking the French Rose tea was a good choice as its aroma of rose fills my senses. The smell of rose is not overly pungent and just nicely subtle. Plus, I can refill in as well.

My nieces opted to shared the Hazeulnut Chocolate, which is filled with a big dose of ‘chocolate’ on top of the drink. However, they find it a tad too sweet for their taste.

Being a sweet tooth person, I ordered the Baileys Cheesecake. It’s creamy with a touch of Baileys and I loved it. My father and sister ordered a Caffe Latte and Flat White each with beautifully coffee art.
We stayed till the cafe closed and we all headed home individually after catching up for the past few hours. It was one of the best night I ever had and let’s arrange for another coffee session soon.
