The LEGO® Group has revealed two new Chinese Traditional Festival LEGO® sets to inspire families to discover the cultural heritage and stories behind the festive celebrations. There’s 3 new sets available to welcome the year of Water Tiger as below:
- 80108 LEGO® Lunar New Year Traditions – celebrates six different activities of the festive occasion with six brick-built scenes packed with authentic details.
- 80109 LEGO® Lunar New Year Ice Festival – shows the joyful scene of a Spring Festival Ice Skating Park. A tiger minifigure is also included in the set.
- The 3-in-1 31129 LEGO® Majestic Tiger – offers versatile play experiences. Build a cute red panda, koi fish or create a new animal.
The LEGO® Group is also inviting shoppers to give the gift of play to their younger ones. Children can take the role as their fireman or police officer heroes in 60319 LEGO® CITY Fire Rescue & Police Chase for some action-packed play. For children who are foodie aficionado, they can role-play with 41701 LEGO® Friends Street Food Festival. What’s also different in the LEGO® Friends sets are the additional minifigure heads with different face expressions for varied storytelling. The above sets are available at LEGO Certified Stores (LCS), LEGOLAND®, LEGO Official Store on Lazada and Shopee, as well as major retailers and department stores in Malaysia. 80109 LEGO® Lunar New Year Ice Festival will be available in mid or end January. Between 3 January and 13 February, LCS and LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort shoppers who purchase LEGO® products with a total worth of RM328 can receive the limited-edition Gift with Purchase 40491 LEGO® Year of the Tiger, which continues the brand’s Chinese Zodiac series. Between 3 January and 28 February, all LCS shoppers with any purchase can receive a red packet with a RM30 LEGO® voucher too. They can redeem this LEGO® voucher with a minimum spend of RM188 between 3 January and 28 February. Between 3 January and 28 February, with any LEGO® Playsets, Exclusives, Keychains & Accessories purchase, LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort shoppers will receive a red packet with a RM30 voucher.
