FISH & CO. introduced its latest set lunch menu, the Lunch Gusto, after receiving many request from customers for a lunch menu. I was stoked to be invited to review the newly launched set lunch which offer affordable pricing and menu varieties at its flagship store in Pavilion KL.
This year Fish & Co is offering two types of meal category – Value Meal and Premium Meal. In the Value Meal set lunch menu, there are 7 dishes to choose from such as Spicy Prawn Spaghetti, Coriander Catch, Grilled Parmesan White Fish and lots more. The meals are served together with a choice of drinks at an affordable price ranging from RM10.95 – RM19.95 nett.
We kick start our review of the Value Meal with healthy fresh Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken that’s tossed in olive oil with light Mayo dressing. Topped it with a sprinkle of cheese it absolutely tasty. This meal is perfect for light and healthy eaters.
Next, we had Spaghetti Pomooro served in classic tomato sauce with shiitake mushroom filled with fresh herbs and zesty flavours.
Also tried the Vongole Aglio Olio with fresh and generously spread clams. This dish is very well balanced with a hint of spiciness. I think kids would love this dish and highly recommends it.
Fish & Co is well known for their brand’s signature dish – The Best Fish & Chips in Town. Perfectly fried battered fillet with a crispy layer on the outside and soft meat on the inside. Squeeze a healthy dose of lemon juice to alleviate the dish taste with its zesty flavour. It’s served with chips on the side.
We then moved on to try some dishes from the Premium Meal selection. This set lunch menu offers 5 dishes to choose from such as Grilled Seabass with Sambal Sauce, Salmon Spicy Teriyaki, Grilled Peri-Peri Chicken with Artic Fish and lots more. Price ranging from RM26.95 – RM28.95 nett and comes with choice of drinks. One can also opt to add-on their meals with a varieties of side dishes such as mashed potatoes, coleslaw, chips and lots more at RM3.50 each. There’s also the soup of the day which is at an attractive price of RM5.95.
From the Premium Meal selection, we tried the Grilled Salmon Mediterranean served together with side dish such as paella rice and seasonal vegetables. The salmon was perfectly grilled and glazed in light olive oil. Paella rice was al-dente and love the fresh carrots and corn which is sprinkle with black pepper.
We also had the Seafood Lunch Platter that features crispy battered fish fillet, fried calamari, clams and fresh prawns. It comes with a sides such as mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetable. This is definitely the crowd winner for that night, as I loved the varieties of seafood available plus the mashed potatoes was absolutely scrumptious.
This new lunch menu is now available as every weekday (Mon – Fri) until 5 pm at the below outlets:
