Every year, I wait in anticipation for Guardian to launch its exclusively -designed reusable bags for BYOB2 (Bring Your Orange Bag) in conjunction with Environment Day. This year its BYOB2 (Bring Your Orange Bag) is exclusively designed by Marie Sydonie, a former French catwalk model and more recently of Sydonie Apparel fame, the re-usable orange bag will be available at all Guardian stores from 29 October to 31 December 2016.
Want to get your hands on this exclusive designed bags? Just head over to Guardian stores nationwide and shoppers are entitled to one orange bag free-of-charge as below:
- CIMB Cardholders – with purchases of RM120 and above in a single receipt
- For Non-CIMB card holders – with purchases of RM180 and above in a single receipt.
This year the bags were produced from funds collected from the ‘No Plastic Bag Day’ campaign and there’s a total of 25,000 bags up for grabs. With every bag redeemed, Guardian will donate RM1 each to nominated non-profit organisations. The beneficiaries of this year’s BYOB are Dignity for Children Foundation, fashion designer Sydonie’s charity of choice; while Guardian selected EcoKnights, an NGO that serves the community through development-led interventions focused on the environment from education and awareness programmes to research and public participation programmes to consultation.
