My Holistic Wellness Trip At Healthland Wellness Center

After a busy week of planning for my son 1 year old party, I really need a massage badly. As, I was thinking where to go for this needed relaxation, I was invited to review Healthland Wellness Center and it couldn’t come at a better time. By now, I’m sure most of you have heard before of Healthland Wellness Center which has been in Malaysia since 2013. With the aim to promote holistic wellness, they offer the finest and most affordable wellness solutions.  All of their therapists are professionally trained by the acclaimed Wellness Academy which is incorporated by the Ministry of Labour (Thailand).

Together with my husband, we headed off to Healthland Wellness Center in Setia Alam to enjoy a  well-planned and much needed holistic wellness pampering. This is our first visit to Healthland Wellness Center and we were surprised with the huge outlet. Stepping in, you’ll fall in love with the beautiful décor of Nusantara concept.

Serving us some warm tea, they inquire a few questions in order to determine which treatment is the most suitable for us. After discussing our preferences, I was recommended to try their outlet’s classic Thai massage technique a.k.a. Thainess Oil Treatment which helps to relieve fatigue and stress; relax sore muscles as well as to calm my body and mind. For my husband, he was recommended the Thai Traditional Massage – an authentic healing art that is influenced by India’s ancient Ayurvedic medical practice and traditional Chinese medicine. This treatment helps to boost immune system, improve blood circulation, soothe physical and mental tension. Both treatments are price at RM68 per hour (60 minutes).

Before we head off for our massage, we were delighted when Healthland Wellness Center also offered us to try their signature Lanna Foot Treatment that includes an exfoliating soak-and-scrub treat for our tired legs and savour the uplifting foot massage session. This treatment helps to cleanse our body’s toxins, maintain and boost organ functions. Price at an affordable rate of only RM58 per hour (60 minutes).

After, having our leg’s scrub we headed off to the foot massage room. It was a big room set up with reclining sofas accompanied with a huge TV Projector and earphones for you to catch a movie. Our masseuse’s technique was really good and they both inquired periodically whether there’s a need to adjust the massage pressure. In fact, a couple of times my masseuse caught me wincing in pain and he automatically adjusted the pressure. While my husband seems totally ignorant of any pain whatsoever. The masseuse was also kind enough to inform me to take proper meals as I’ve got indigestion problem.

Upon, finishing our foot massage, we were then ushered to the body massage room. The rooms are divided into single and double occupancy. You can also opt for special treatment that includes a soak at the jacuzzi tub. As couples, we opted for the double room but just a note there’s a curtain to divide the room should you feel shy about being naked.

Our room was scented with aromatic candles and I was totally immerse in the feeling of gentle strokes and acute pressure point massages to help relieve the stress of my lower back areas. It was so relaxing that I fell asleep almost immediately (this does not happen often as my pain tolerance level is very low). I woke up when my masseuse ask me to turn over and proceed to massage my legs and arms. Honestly, I wished it could last forever but alas our time was up. Over on the other side of the room, I can hear my husband complimenting his masseuse. Not only that, he told me it was the best massage he ever had and he plans to have a Guy’s Night Out session with his buddies here.

After changing, we headed to the lobby and was served with ginger tea. We also took the opportunity to take some pictures as well.

By the way, Healthland Wellness Center, Setia Alam has a lifestyle café located inside known as One + Another serving bird nest desserts, coffee and healthy snacks. The best part of this café is that the furniture displayed can be purchased at an affordable price. Upon chatting, I found out that the place is owned by several partners who came together to provide a platform for entrepreneurs to display their products as well as the place for community sharing events that is held every few weeks.
