I’m back to share with your my experience trying the latest collection of “First Lip Stick” by G9 Skin, a Korean beauty brand. Earlier I’ve blog about their skincare best seller G9 Skin White In Whipping Cream and today it’s the makeup turn. Let’s have fun creating new looks with G9 Skin First Lip Stick!
G9 Skin First Lip Stick has two key moisturizing ingredients:
- Shea Butter:Soothe and moisturize chapped lips and dry skin
- Tocopheryl Acetate: Synthetic Vitamin E that moisturizes lips
The “First Lip Stick” series comes in 5 vivid shades, take a look at the gorgeous swatches below:
I managed to get my hands on 4 of the popular colours such as:
- #01. Midnight Red
- #02. Dry Rose
- #03. Dazzling Pink
- #04. Peach Brown
I won’t be doing full color swatches on my lips as it’s kinda boring, thus I’m going to focus on two of my favourite shades from G9 Skin First Lip Stick. Apart from that, I will also share ‘HOW’ to create two-tone lip effect using both of the colours.
For day look, I like to use ‘Peach Brown’ which has a hint of coral to it. The normal nude colour lipstick I used tend to make feel washed out and pale. Definitely, loving this natural nude coral brown color.
For a hot date night, I highly recommend ‘Midnight Red’ a vivid RED color that’s extremely sexy!
The Midnight Red vividness might be too strong for some women. However, if you pair it with ‘Peach Brown’ you can create your own unique two tone lip color.
To create the two tone lip look, I lightly apply ‘Midnight Red’ all over my lips. Then, using a lipbrush, I filled in the outer layers with ‘Peach Brown’ and slowly blend in. In just 3 minutes, you’ll see a gradient two tone lip color emerging. VOILA! That’s my very own unique blend of red and coral mix! *wink*
Verdict
I loved the soft creamy texture of G9 Skin First Lip Stick. It glides on smoothly onto the lips and offers a matte finishing without any dryness nor sticky sensation. The colors are vibrant and vivid with long lasting power. Did I mentioned, the packaging is also quite classic and sleek too!
