(Review) Seafood Sunday Buffet Extravaganza at THIRTY8, Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur

THIRTY8’s meticulously crafted menu is designed for an unforgettable seafood extravaganza that will delight seafood  and culinary enthusiasts alike – offering dishes that are perfect for sharing and an extensive selection of exquisite international delicacies that will satisfy your culinary desires.

Together with my family, we begin our culinary feast with THIRTY8’s house-made sourdough bread, a delightful fusion of textures and scents, thoughtfully complemented by the luxurious embrace of seaweed Kombu butter. The butter simply melts in the mouth and the bread is super fresh too!

As we journey through the menu, we get to savour over a fine selection of Seafood on Ice, boasting Camaros rojo prawns, clam lokan, blue mussels, and freshly shucked seasonal oysters. My kids love the Sushi Counter, which has an  array of assorted nigiri and maki rolls crafted with the freshest ingredients.

One of our top favorite dish for the day was the rich and creamy Lobster Coconut Bisque. Followed by succulent grilled selections such as sea bream and tiger prawn, and the tasty of salt-baked seabass in the Fisherman’s Catch. Another must have is the signature juicy Beef Wellington.

At the Oriental corner, we get to enjoy Chinese cuisine such as double-boiled Chinese seafood soup in a coconut shell, Dynasty seafood platter, and Emperor seafood yam rice. One of the uniqueness of this buffet is the pass-around tableside service. Waiters will be pushing trolley’s featuring Asparagus risotto and Fisherman’s catch tostadas with the catch of the day.  Not to be missed is the THIRTY8’s signature baked seafood parcel, which is served on every table. Be prepared to be awed by the freshness and sumptuous taste!

There’s a special highlight in THIRTY8 Seafood Sunday Buffet, it’s the Premium Mineral Water Station, featuring still  water from renowned brands such as Aqua Panna, San Pellegrino, Hildon, TY Nant, Evian, and Tau. Feel free to DIY your own glass of water with assorted fresh fruits, mint leaves, cucumbers and many more.

psst…also must stop by the Hot Beverage Station to grab yourself a cup of Masala Tea! If you loved a good bowl of tasty noodles with fresh seafood ingredients, it’s also available at THIRTY8 Seafood Sunday Buffet. Not to mention, there’s also a DIY healthy salad section with delicious kombucha served.
