With that in mind, Anchor has released ‘The Anchor Travel Cake’ – the quintessential butter loaf cakes made using Anchor Tinned Butter. Inspired by the France’s “gateaux de voyage”, the cakes are deliciously done with high quality butter brought on a journey from one place to another by travellers.


The Anchor Travel cakes comes in three different variants and will be launched in 15 selected bakeries nationwide. Starting from 1st December 2016, consumers can purchased these delicious butter loaf cakes at over 57 outlets in Malaysia.


Lovers of chocolate cake can enjoy the Chocolate Prune Travel Cake a mixture of pitted prune, apricots and dark chocolate chunks encased in a moist chocolate butter cake. For something tangy and refreshing, try the Orange Cranberry Travel Cake featuring plump and juicy cranberries soaked in orange juice in a buttery orange scented cake. A taste of fusion is also available with the Earl Grey Apricot Travel Cake featuring earl grey infused apricot in fragrant earl grey tea butter cake.


What makes the Anchor Travel Cakes special is that it’s created by Anchor Food Professionals Pastry Chefs using Anchor Tinned Butter. Anchor Tinned Butter is the ideal butter to create these butter loaf cakes as it is made from pure and natural dairy products from the grass-fed cows in New Zealand. A premium butter for baked goods, Anchor Tinned Butter is simply aromatic and soft with a smooth texture. This I can attest to as I’ve tried all of The Anchor Travel Cakes.
