Be prepared to scream your heads off as ‘Nights Of Fright 3:- Festival of Fear‘ is back with a vengeance! Returning this October, to Asia’s Best Attraction, Sunway Lagoon with all new scare zones and mazes that will take your fear to the next level. This is my first time attending this fearful event and I was totally prepared to “Scream” myself silly and de stress for the day.
The event kick start with welcoming note from the emcee, followed by a speech from Mr. Sean Choo Shyang-Lin, General Manager, Sunway Lagoon.
We were also introduced to Mr. Lynton V Harris, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Sudden Impact Entertainment Group, who produced the Kevin Hill Scream Park – a cryonic vision of the future gone dangerously wrong!
Following suit, the emcee spring a surprise wedding on us. A real –life couple (who both worked in Sunway Lagoon) was invited on stage to hold their wedding nuptials in front us when suddenly all hells break loose. Arriving on the scene were the daredevil duo Mr. Chaos and Ms. Havoc who has taken the stage and kidnapped the human couple away. Their demand was to be blessed in their unholy matrimony!
The launch gimmick was terrifyingly scary as Mr.Chaos and Ms.Havoc theatrical makeup is so real. Spotted at the event were celebrities such as Scha Alya, Kevin Chong, Kit Mah, Brandon Ho, Magdaline Wang and the finalists of Miss Cosmopolitan World 2015. Comes 17th October, some of the celebrities like Kit Mah, Brandon Ho, Melissa Th’ng will be transform into vicious monster and joined the crew of Nights of Fright fiasco. This year visitors ‘MUST‘ check out some of the newly scare zones and mazes such as, Terrortory-X featuring TOXIC a devastated wasteland with chainsaw weilding mutants, Escape from Pudu 2 – more deranged and hungry inmates and The Mummy’s Revenge Tomb of Terror in 3D. Not to mention, Pirate Jack’s Locker O’ Lantern where pirates zombies resides, Death Port – the place where criminals are brutally executed and don’t stay dead and Japan’s creepiest ghost Sadako Dori is also here as well. Last but not least, would be the all new KEVIN HILL – where evil lives!
Visitors are also invited to dress up in their spookiest outfits to attend Nights of Fright 3 at only RM58 per person (includes unlimited rides and attractions available throughout the Amusement Park). For Daytime park guests, who wished to joined this fear festival on the same evening of their visit, it’s only at a rate of RM35.
Nights of Fright 3: Festival of Fear @ Sunway Lagoon is happening on:
- Date: Every Friday, October 2015: 8th – 10th / 15th – 17th / 22nd – 24th / 29th & 31st
- Time: 7.30pm – 11.30pm
Do note that the event is recommended for guests above 12 years old. Visitors dressed in their spookiest costumes will not be allowed to wear face masks or theatrical makeup on the event night. Now, I’m not going to reveal everything of Nights of Fright 3 here as it will ruin the fun. All I can say was I had a jolly good time ‘screaming at the top of my lungs’ and laughing really hard during comedic moments of my scaredy-cat friends.
