#DreamBIG Empowering Women
Empowering women has always been at the heart of everything The Body Shop does. This year, the brand teams up with Plan International, a global children’s charity striving to advance children’s rights and equality for girls all over the world.
When you shop with The Body Shop between November and December 2019, you’ll be supporting Plan International to provide training and skills for 1,500 girls in Indonesia and Brazil. The goal is to raise £250,000 for the programme so girls can achieve their dream job or start up their dream business.
Bring Back Our Bottle
Well, as part of The Body Shop efforts to encourage ‘go-green’, they have an ongoing “Bring Back Our Bottle” campaign. Customers who bring back their empty bottles from The Body Shop will enjoy RM1 off their next purchase.
More recently, The Body Shop has moved a step further and managed to by recycling the empty plastic bottles into Fragrancers! Plus, the Fragrancers come with a fishing line recovered from the mangroves of Pulau Tulai and the beaches off Pulau Tioman, they helped clean the beaches as well.
