As someone who enjoys keeping active, trying different fitness classes and finding new ways to take care of both my body and mind, I’m always interested in wellness experiences that go beyond the usual workout routine. So when I heard that the Women Wellness Festival is returning to Kuala Lumpur for its biggest edition yet, it immediately caught my attention.
Now in its third year, the festival is expanding into a two-day wellness experience on 3 and 4 October 2026, bringing together around 2,000 people for a weekend dedicated to movement, mindfulness, personal growth, connection and, importantly, taking some time for ourselves.
The Women Wellness Festival 2026 will take place at Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur at KL Midtown, from 9am to 6pm on both days. With more than 50 workshops, talks, panels and hands-on sessions across five zones and two floors, I think there will be plenty to keep both fitness enthusiasts and wellness beginners occupied.
There’s a variety of of programmes available, from Qigong and Wim Hof breathwork to mindfulness, crystals, aging experts and even rage workshops, the programme covers a surprisingly broad spectrum of wellness. There is also a first-time focus on financial wellness, which I think is a great addition because taking care of ourselves isn’t just about physical health. Feeling confident about our finances and future is also an important part of overall wellbeing.
The speaker line-up is another reason I’d be interested in checking out the festival. The event will be officially launched on 3 October by YB Hannah Yeoh, who returns to officiate for the second consecutive year. Joining her are women who have made their mark in very different fields, including Datuk Nicol David, 2X HYROX World Champion Hannah Prescott, Fitness Master Trainer Allisha Azlan, Asia’s Top Leader Dr. Jillian Yeoh and Women’s Financial Advocate Rejina Rahim.
As someone who enjoys fitness and has been incorporating HYROX into my own workout routine, I’m excited to see Hannah Prescott, a two-time HYROX World Champion. Apart from the workouts, I’m also looking to learn more about personal growth, wellbeing and navigating different stages of life.
This year’s festival will also be held at Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur at KL Midtown for the first time. With two floors, indoor spaces and open-air areas, the new venue gives the festival more room to grow while still creating opportunities to slow down and connect.

What makes the Women Wellness Festival different from simply attending a fitness class or wellness workshop is the community element. The festival was founded by Diane Chia, Raja Jesrina Arshad and Sarah Lian, who each bring their own perspective to the wellness space. After two sold-out editions, the festival has grown into something that people return to year after year. And while it’s called the Women Wellness Festival, men are welcome too!
The tickets are pretty affordable as well, Festival Access starts from RM20 in advance or RM30 at the door, while individual ticketed workshops and experiences are RM38 in advance or RM48 on the day. And if you’re anything like me and enjoy discovering new fitness and wellness experiences, this looks like a weekend worth checking out.
