To avoid the possibility of worm infestations, every 6 months I will do ‘Deworming’ for them with Zentel Tablets. Why such frequency? This is because; most pills kill only the worms but not the eggs. Therefore, it is important to repeat de-worming periodically.
Zentel Tablet is a well-known brand for curing worm infestation aka deworming. Just by taking 1 dose of it can kill all 6 types of worms (roundworm, whipworm, hookworm, pinworm, threadworm, tapeworm). It is chewable and can also be crushed and mixed with food. If you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skipped the missed does and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not do double doses. Even adults can consume Zentel Tablets to purge themselves from worm infestation too. However, do note that you should not exceed the maximum daily doses and treatment.
This tablet is also not suitable for those who are pregnant. If you have been diagnosed with liver or kidney problems, do seek advice from a Healthcare Professional before taking this medicine. Do remember to avoid contact with the skin, eyes, mouth or nose, as albendazole suspension may cause irritation. Lastly, keep out of the sight and reach of children.
I gave my son 1 dose of the white tablet and was quite concern he will spit it out. Luckily, he didn’t as he said ‘it tasted pretty good’ and in fact he was asking for another dosage. *lolx* psst…here’s a tip: It is recommended to eat Zentel Tablets after dinner because the symptoms (itching at anus) are more likely occur at night. This is because worms are more active/growing at night ya.
So if you noticed your kids or yourself having symptoms of worm infestations, I would suggest to grab a box of Zentel Tablets from the nearest pharmacies. Remember to follow the recommended dosage and voila your worm problems will be gone.
