Last week, I had the opportunity to be invited to Sunway Pyramid’s mystical underwater world. Presenting ‘Christmas In Atlantis’ at LG2 Orange Concourse and LG2 Blue Concourse. Both concourse area has been transforms into a treasure trove filled with pockets of surprises, activities and redemptions to usher in the holidays.
There were two separate sessions conducted for this event and I was lucky to be invited to both of it. Firstly, was the bloggers session where we can bring our family along for a weekend of jolly good fun. We were given the opportunity to meet Santa Claus and snap photos with friendly mascots Leo & Leona, decked out in festive cheer to distribute candy to the little ones. Not to mentioned, we get to collect free personalized printed photo at the concourse by snapping a photo and hashtagging #ChristmasInAtlantis.
While the adults were busy snapping away, the kids gets to enjoy themselves with body painting and special performances done by the cheerful clown. The most fantastic part is the stunning augmented reality aquatic wonderland at LG2 Orange Concourse ; where we can make friends with virtual mystical mermaids, serene seahorses and dashing dolphins. My kids had fun swimming amongst the virtual playful school of fishes, laid-back stingrays and majestic sharks!
For the media session, we were regal by the display of towering pastel Christmas trees, decorated with layers of glimmering pearls and winking starfishes at LG2 Blue Concourse. We were also awestruck by the multi-dimensional crystal cove lined with sparkling reflective prisms all around, tucked in the heart of the tallest Christmas tree. While waiting for the event to begin, I took the opportunity to take pictures at a sleigh drawn by seahorses amidst a seabed of vibrant corals and mistletoe.
A nail art painting and face painting booth was set up for us to enjoy ourselves. Most of us took the opportunity to get our nails painted in cute and cheerful Christmas nail art. For the more adventurous, they headed to get their face painted in glittery colours and special tattoos.
During the event, we were treated by a wonderful performance from the Christmas Carollers together with energetic kids dressed in beautiful underwater world costume. After the performances, we were ushered to LG2 Orange Concourse to explore the reality aquatic wonderland where we can virtually dive in and swim among the mystical creatures of the underwater world. The event ended with lucky draws session and some of us walked away with amazing prizes sponsored by the mall tenants such as Swarovski, Marks & Spencer, PUMA and lots more.
