I was invited to an exclusive ginger dough-making workshop last week at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® (CB&TL), Paradigm Mall. For the first time, Chef Johnny Loh steps out of the kitchen to demonstrate how to create the perfect dough. Following suit, we were then invited to decorate our very own Ginger Breadman. I also learnt how to fold my own pipping bag with Chef Johnny Loh’s help.
The event ended with tea session and I tried a couple of the Holiday Specials creations and my top favourites definitely goes to Jivara Raspberry Log and German Stollen. For your information, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) is a chronic, incurable auto-immune disease which causes the body to produce large amounts of anti-bodies which then react against the patient’s own tissues. The condition primarily affects women; in Malaysia, an estimated 10,000 individuals have been diagnosed with SLE over the past 30 years but the Association believes many individuals remain undiagnosed.
