The past few months was a roller coaster ride for me and I was stressed out to the max! Realizing that, I quickly grab my bestie Joyce and headed to Phillip Wain, Starhill Gallery for a much needed relaxation spa trip. Unbeknown to most, Phillip Wain not only offers facial and slimming treatment, they also offer a variety of health and fitness program in their spa as well. Together with my bestie, we decided to embark on a full blown spa trip by indulging ourselves with several programs available at Phillip Wain such as facial, massage and gym time as well.
To kick start our day, we decided to head to the gym and do some quick weight lifting while waiting for our pilates reformer class.
Pilates Reformer is the latest fitness program at Phillip Wain and you’ve got to book one week in advance for the class. What makes this different from the usual pilates, is that we’re working with a uniquely designed machine. This machine helps us to stretch our muscles as well as ensuring our body’s core is more toned with the correct posture.
Pilates Reformer takes about an hour to complete and I guaranteed buckets of sweat will happen.
Wiping down, we headed over for our massage treatment. I opted to try the 3R Spot Contouring Treatment which is also exclusive in Phillip Wain. The 3R Spot Contouring Treatment is a body contouring and wellness treatment which combines synergy of infrared, strong vibration and vacuum system for contouring and wellness effect. It helps to reshape our body contour, revitalize body and mind as well regenerate muscular function.
For the first hour, the therapist concentrated on relaxing my tense muscles with deep knead massages. I loved this treatment for they also include ‘qi gong’ massage which is great for woman who’s given birth and it’s also perfect for those who have ‘windy’ tummy as well. Felt so relaxed that I fell asleep.
Following suit, I did the contouring treatment using a machine designed to vacuum my stubborn fat away. Using infrared couple with strong vibration, the therapist gently vacuum my body. The pressure of the vacuum can be adjusted to accommodate your level of pain. It takes approximately 2 hours to complete and I felt much lighter afterwards. (Note: There might be some slight bruising on certain part of the body but rest assure it’ll heal after a couple of days)
Has the session ended yet? Of course not, no spa is complete without facial. I’m trying the latest FRX D-White Divine Perfector Whitening Facial Treatment that combines Fractional RF machine & exclusive i-Firm D-White Divine Whitening skincare from USA. This intensive facial treatment can deliver instant visible fine line reduce and skin brightening result.

Wow…just look at my picture and you’ll notice how my left side is more lifted with less fine lines after the treatment.
Estimate time to finished the facial is about 1 hour 45 minutes. Ta-dah…don’t I look extremely refresh with my glowing skin 😀
Time to head to the shower room and prep ourselves for lunch. In Phillip Wain, we were provided with our own lockers, bath robe and slippers as well.
There’s also toiletries and hair dryer provided for our usage.
Time for lunch and we had a healthy set meal at the café inside of Phillip Wain. Every day is a different set and the meals are not only nutritious but also contain less calories count.
