Last year, I had tons of fun being a kid at KidZania Kuala Lumpur’s Back-2-KidZ event (read my experience ). This year is back and get ready to be spooked in the Halloween special edition ‘Scary Fun Festival’ that promises to be frighteningly fantastic! Get ready as Kidzania will open its doors for this special event on 28 October and 5 November from 6:00pm to 9:30pm.
Targeted to an audience above the age of 16, Back-2-KidZ is an annual event where KidZania Kuala Lumpur lifts its ‘kids only’ ban, and opens its doors for older teens and adults to experience the attraction’s wide range of career and life based role-play activities.
One can look forward to testing their courage and survival skills activities like the Scary Maze – a dilapidated house of horror, the Abandoned Hotel – an escape room trial against time, the Zombie Escape – a game to keep the virus infection at bay, and the Spooky Hunt – a city-wide scavenger hunt for clues that might help save the city.
I had a taste of the activities during the recent preview and what’s my verdict! Absolutely fun and creepy! The Scary Maze was narrowed and dimly lighted, I did get spooked a couple of times. Next, you must try the Abandoned Hotel, crawling thru the dark tunnels with just a torchlight, we need to look for clues to cure the zombies. Keep a lookout for the zombies as they might make a grab for you!
If you’re not up to be spooked, then joined other fun activities like The Walking Dead Parade, the Pocong Run, the Blindfolded Painting Challenge and many more. I did the Pocong Run as well. It was a team effort consisting of 4 person doing tag team running around KidZania. There’s also goodies prepared for Best Dressed at Back-2-KidZ ‘Scary Fun Festival’ , so do come dressed in your best Halloween outfit!
