Movie Synopsis
“Molly’s Game” is based on the true story of Molly Bloom (Jessica Chastain act), an Olympic-class skier who was forced to abandon athletics after a devastating injury. She ran the world’s most exclusive high-stakes poker game for a decade before being arrested in the middle of the night by 17 FBI agents wielding automatic weapons. Her players included Hollywood royalty, sports stars and business titans give her a decade of glitzy, glamorous success and finally unbeknownst to her, the Russian mob. Facing criminal charges, her only ally is her reluctant defense lawyer Charlie Jaffey (Idris Elba act) who learned that there was much more to Molly than the salacious tabloid stories reveal.
“Molly’s Game” is directed by Aaron Sorkin and starring Golden Globe Award nominee Jessica Chastain and Kevin Costner together with Golden Globe Award winner Idris Elba.
