The Guardian Makeover is one of the most highly anticipated event of the year and I for one is extremely stoked to be invited to the event last Saturday at IOI City Mall, Putrajaya. For the first time ever, the Guardian Makeover will be staged in three towns namely Putrajaya, Johor Bharu and Penang. Held consecutively for 3 weeks, the event finale will be in Penang from 2nd – 3rd April  2016, so ladies don’t miss out this opportunity to learn new  tips to look good and stay healthy!

This year the Guardian Annual Health & Beauty fair is themed ‘ Confidence Creation’ in honour of International Women’s Day celebrated earlier this month. As shared by Ms. Christina Low, Marketing Director of Guardian Malaysia “Confidence is one of the most important qualities a woman can have. Research has shown that confidence makes you approach everything differently. The ability to see one’s self-worth undoubtedly gives the boost to handle the various challenges that life throws at us. So to all the women out there   – acknowledge that you are beautiful, love yourself and make healthy choices today!

To enjoy the Guardian Makeover event, just purchase RM50 of any participating brand and be entitled to a makeover consisting of make-up by Makeup Puzzle and hair styling by A Cut Above. For the first time ever, I participated in this makeover as I was eager to learn some new styling tricks. I think the hair stylist went into shock mode when I informed them, ‘NO hairspray/gel’ as I was too lazy to wash my hair. See my transformation here:

A variety of activities is held such as spin the wheel, photobooth corner and exciting games so bring your family along to have some fun. Also for wannabe models, there’s a casting for The Missing Hijabi Model search held by Hijabista magazine.
