Entering it’s 1st Year Annivesary, Klang Parade held an event on 26th September to kick off their two-month-long celebration. I was there to witness this momentous occasion and learn new things about Klang Parade. The event kick start with performance by local Hokkien group Chen Xiao Fei (陈小菲) . Who are they? If you’re a fan of Astro Hokkien Channel, you’ll probably recognize them as Chen Wei Zi, Xiao Feng Feng and Phoebe Yap. This trio makes up the band and they perform 2 songs from their album. During the event, there was a game session and audiences were invited to sing on stage. The winner will walked away with fantastic prizes. This dude can really sing, have a look at the video. Upon chatting, it’s revealed that he has tried out before for ‘Hua Hee Kara’ a local Hokkien singing competition.

After the games session, it was cake cutting ceremony and Klang Parade ‘s top management joined in as well.
The event ended with a autograph session with Chen Xiao Fei (陈小菲) on stage. Guess what, I got myself an autograph too!
By the way, from 26th September till 30th November 2015, shoppers at Klang Parade who spend more than RM50 (max combo of 2 separate receipts) are entitle to participate in a daily special two-tier lucky draw! On the first draw, shoppers can “Spin & Win” on the spot for prizes.
