The most awaited cooking event of the year is backed, I’m talking about the Pensonic’s Chef‘s Live Cooking Class with Dato’ Chef Haji Ismail which was recently conducted at West Boulevard, One City, Subang. This year winners of “Raya-Merdeka Cook With Chef Season 3” contest also joins us in this fun and exciting cooking session. Resulting in a major turn out of more than 500 people.
Before the event began, I was busy taking photos to join the Instagram contest.
Apart from that, there’s also the lucky draw session as well. Just need to fill in the form and if you’re lucky you’ll walk home with electrical appliances from Pensonic.
Together with my team mate, I headed to my designated table to find ingredients, cooking utensils and apron all prep up for us. We will be cooking one of Malaysia’s famous culinary delights the Ayam Masak Merah with Pensonic Multi-cooker.
After watching DCH Ismail demonstrating several new recipes on stage, it’s time for us to show off our cooking skills. Joining in the fun was Pensonic’s Executive Director Mr. Nelson Chew, Kitchen Kingdom Managing Director, Mr. Mohd Imran bin Sa’adon, Mamee Chef Brand Manager, Ms. Alysha Wong and Pensonic Friends such as Amber Chia, Alan Yun, Sean Lee, Carrie Lee, Kelly Jagan, Angel Yeoh and Peng Peng . I also spotted Pensonic Ambassador Emily Lim together with Pensonic Celebrity guests such as Fendi Balas, Ungku Ismail Aziz, Lim Jian Wen and Ahmad Syahir.
It was easy to cook the dish as we listened attentively to DCH Ismail instructions. Furthermore, he was walking amongst the crowd offering advise to us. What I loved about this event is that we get to bring home a Pensonic Multi-cooker together with the food we’ve cooked. Its worth an estimate of RM450 in total!
The event ended with lucky draws and also announcement of Instagram winners. Although I didn’t win anything, I still had tons of fun joining this cook out.
