I think every women around the world knows the importance of caring for their hair with the right treatment to ensure it stays bouncy and shining. However, most of us haven’t give a single thought to our scalp which is equivalently important. A healthy scalp provides us with strong healthy hair straight from our roots.
Here, I am trying out Davines NaturalTech. What’s NaturalTech? The name is derived from Nature-Man-Technology and the product itself was created using the utmost scientific innovation whilst enhancing the best of natural raw materials. This products and treatment system is specifically designed and formulated to solve most common problems of our scalp and hair. Uniqueness of this products is phytoceuticals which are present exclusively in plants. These active ingredient carry out an antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-free radical functions that plants used to protect themselves from diseases, pests, sunlight and oxidation. Simply amazing that we now have access to phytoceuticals via Davines NaturalTech to protect our scalp and hair better.
Before I started my treatment, my hair educator Jolleen analysed my scalp with the scalp scanner machine. To my horror, I was informed that I’ve got a slight dandruff problem on the top and side of my scalp. No wonder, I was feeling extremely itchy on the selected areas. However, Jolleen recommended to me try a mixture of Davines NaturalTech products to help me with my problem.
We kick start the treatment, with a wellbeing massage oil that is hydrating for my scalp and massage it for about 3-5 minutes to help me relax. According to Jolleen, the more relax we are our scalp will be able to absorb the treatment essence better. Finishing the massage, we apply Depolluting Mud (Scalp Detox Treatment) on my scalp and hair that helps to absorb impurities. Next, Jolleen used the Depolluting Scrub Shampoo with gentle scrub particles to provide deep cleansing on my scalp by massaging it thoroughly for 2-3 minutes.
As I have dandruff, an additional step was included for me. I had to put the Purifying Gel -Dandruff Treatment. This product contains antifungal and antibacterial ingredients with active anti-dandruff action. I had to leave it on my hair for 10 minutes, during the time I can feel a light tingling sensation. Following suit, it’s time for a hair wash and I tried the Purifying Shampoo which is used for scalp with dry or greasy dandruff. Again, I had to leave it on for 3-5 minutes for my scalp to absorb it.
After washing my hair, the itchiness I was experiencing earlier was totally gone. Next step, was to apply Oil Lotion Absolute Hydration to hydrate the body of my hair making it silky, shiny and soft. Final step was one of my favourites, applying Nourishing Royal Jelly Superactive – a leave-in scalp treatment for dryness and sensitivity. Enriched with royal jelly this is a soothing and calming treatment which is ideal after a Purifying Treatment.
After treatment, my scalp was rescanned to show the difference of my dandruff areas and I’m really amazed that it has lessen significantly with just one treatment. Another thing I absolutely adored was the wellbeing massage oil , which is aromatic and smells heavenly. I truly enjoyed my pampering session with Davines NaturalTech and after doing it my hair is super smooth and glossy. On top of that, I have a healthier scalp than before.
