A gorgeous spring palette of garden-inspired beauty must-haves developed in collaboration with fashion designer Patricia Bonaldi. Well-known for creating wearable works of art, her designs for ‘Into The Garden’ packaging features vibrant pastels colours meet blooming florals amidst the English garden.
I fell in love with the beautiful packaging that’s so sweet and romantic. Another plus factor is that the casing is made from hard cardboard thus its much lighter and easier to bring around.
Mary Kay® Into the Garden™ make up palette features a build in compact mirror with four shades of vibrant shimmery pastel colours and three ultra-sheer lip glosses. It also come together with a duel-end applicator as well.

I loved shimmery eye shadows for it enhances my eyes and make it more luminous. The most common problem with shimmery eye shadow is that it’s not easy to blend and the colours payoff is usually very light. Thus, you’ll have to apply several layers before your eye shadow colours pop up. However, for Mary Kay® Into the Garden™ make up palette the colours are really pigmented. With a swipe of my eye shadow brush, the shimmery colours are easily pick up and it blends smoothly onto my eyelids.
Here’s a quick tutorial on my eye makeup:
- First, apply Natural Taupe on the upper eyelids and blend in gently.
- Next, using Violet blend in from the outer corners of the eye to the middle.
- Follow by using Plum Brown as eyeliner to draw a fine line on the eye.
- Final step, to use Pink to highlight below the eyebrow, inner corner of the eye & bottom eye lash.
I’ve also tried all three lip glosses ranging from nude, pink and coral. All of them look lovely on my lips but my personal favourite would be coral. The melted texture of the lip gloss glides on smoothly and gives a glossy shimmery effect finishing.
