I’ve always been a fan of Tim Burton for his creative mind in bringing characters to live. Opening in cinema this week is his latest film Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children, which is based on a novel written by Ransom Riggs.

Movie Synopsis:
When his beloved grandfather leaves Jake clues to a mystery that spans different worlds and times, he finds a magical place known as Miss Peregrine’s School for Peculiar Children. But the mystery and danger deepen as he gets to know the residents and learns about their special powers – and their terrifying enemies. Ultimately, Jake discovers that only his own special peculiarity can save his new friends.
The movie is a bit slow to warm up in the beginning thus patience is required here. As the story unfolds, you’ll find more of the beguiling mystery unravelling and I got to say Tim Burton did a really good job for keeping us in suspense. Here’s my top 3 reasons on why you should catch Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children in cinemas:

- Firstly – If you’re a fan of fantasy novels, then the story of children with special powers will definitely appeal to you. Each child is ‘peculiar’ in their own way and you’ll get to find out how extraordinary they are.
- Second – Watch it if you love Eva Green. In this movie, she’s a strong willed headmistress and yet possessed a kind loving heart to protect the children at all cost.
- Thirdly – Be captivated by the stellar performances of the child actors that brings the character to live and makes you feel like living in that peculiar world.

I certainly had a good time watching Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children. Opening this week, catch it at the nearest cinema near you.
