Lip Balms Battle

I hate chapped lips and will do anything to keep my lips supple and moist.  Thus, one of the MUST HAVE in my bag is definitely lipbalm.  To keep my lips nourish throughout the day, I applied lipbalm on a regular basis.  Its really important to pampered our lips to avoid it appearing dull and developing wrinkles. Thus, without further ado, let’s roll and check out my two cents on my favourite lipbalms *wink*

Premium Rich Moist – RM22.90 Each

First up on my list is this incredible nourishing Premium Rich Moist lipbalm by Mentholatum.  Available in two variants namely Fragrance Free (suitable for those with sensitive skin) and Natural Honey (scented with a tinge of sweetness). It’s formulated with 8 moisturising ingredients such as Olive Oil, Honey, Avocado Oil, Argan Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Royal Jelly Extract, Shea Butter and Moringa Butter.  Fortified with Multi-Ceramimds it helps to maintain and restore skin barrier function for intense and long-lasting moisturisation. To top it off, it also comes with SPF 23 PA+++ for protection against UVA and UVB rays.

How to use: Just twist and gently glide two to three layers on the lips 😀

Verdict: The packaging is classy and looks chic which appeals to me. Truly super moisturising and gives off a moist supple look on the lips.  I like the way it relieve my dry and chapped lips. I prefer the Fragrance Free against Natural Honey variant. Reason being when I consume food, I have an after taste Honey scent lingering in my mouth which feels kinda odd.  Buy this if you loved super moisturising lips 😀

Second on my list of hot lipbalms are LipIce Tinted Lipbalm in DISNEY edition collection. An ultra nourishing tinted balm that moisturises and protects lips while leaving a soft natural tint in refreshing berry flavours scent. It’s formulated with Super Hyaluronic Acid, Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Collagen and Vitamin E.  Helps to seal moisture, restore elasticity and repair dry lips.

Verdict: The packaging gives a vibrant, young and fun feel.  Top it with Disney logo, how can we not love it *wink*! Apart from nourishing my lips, I like how it leaves a soft tinted colour on my lips.  The sweet berry scents are absolutely fantastic to breathe in as well.  Purchase if you’re fan of Disney, loved soft tinted lips and sweet berry scents.

Lastly, this is my TOP FAVOURITE amongst the others.  The Water Lip Tone UP CC is a lipbalm that automatically colour correct your lip colour while nourishing and moisturising your lips at the same time. The unique formula has three colour correcting functions and helps to revive dull lips while brightens it up. It also contains powerful nourishing ingredients such as Vitamin C derivative, Vitamin E, OIive Oil and Jojoba Oil. Did I mentioned it’s also enhanced with 3D PEARL to vividly enhance natural lip color? Plus factor, this lipbalm is fragrance free and contains SPF 20 PA++ to protect lips against UVA and UVB rays.

Verdict: The packaging is vibrant and has a chic look to it.  It’s my TOP FAVOURITE as it immediately brighten and enhance my natural lip colour. I loved how it offers a semi-glossy final touch to my lips while keeping it moisturize. Just one application and instantly my lips are revives from dullness.   Super long lasting colour to boot! A MUST BUY for ladies who loved intense and long lasting colors! (psst..it can even replaced your lipstick, trust me 😀 )

Well, there you go! These are some of the lipbalms that I’ve tried this couple of months.  All of it are good but my fave goes to Water Lip Tone UP CC which wins hands down in these lipbalm battle. In fact, my colleagues loved the intense color so much that they’ve gone on to purchase it at the nearest pharmacy. Do you have a favourite lipbalm?
