(Review) Experimenting Daily Masking For Radiant Glowing Skin

I’m a firm believer of applying mask on my face. However, the first time I heard about daily masking I was quite skeptical. Why? I know that applying mask can do wonders for our skin but won’t applying it daily caused our skin to be over nourish? So, I’m putting this to test by using Freeman Beauty Mask latest ‘Beauty Infusion’ range. This facial mask line is serum-infused formulated and features natural botanicals. I’m all ready to use these beauty boosters to attain a naturally glowing skin.

Freeman ‘Beauty Infusion’ range consists of 5 types of mask namely Revitalizing Peel-Off Mask, Cleansing Clay Mask, Brightening Overnight Mask, Hydrating Cream Mask and Purifying In-Shower Mask. DAY 1: PURIFYING IN-SHOWER MASK SEA KELP + PROBIOTICS  – RM49.90 (118ml)

I kick start with Purifying In-Shower Mask. This serum-infused gel mask duo function as a gentle scrub while you shower. It contains Sea Salts and Sea Kelp to renew and clarify skin. Apart from that, the innovative purifying formula is boosted with Probiotics to balance the skin’s ecosystem to help prevent flare ups.

The blue color gel like texture has a thick consistency and contains sea salts to assist in skin exfoliation. I love the ocean sea scent which is super refreshing. It takes about 3 -5 minutes for the gel to dried up and just add a touch of water to scrub the skin. Love how my skin’s clarity was boosted instantly and feel super smooth kinda like egg shell.

Tips: Don’t over apply the mask as it might cause tightness and redness on the skin. Do note to gently scrub the skin and not exert too much pressure. This is because sea salt’s texture is rougher compared to microbeads. Too much pressure might damage the skin.

How To Use:

Squeeze a small amount and gently apply on damp or dry skin and neck. Wait for 3 – 5 minutes, add water and gently scrub in circular motion on the face and neck. Use twice a week.

DAY 2: CLEANSING CLAY MASK CHARCOAL + PROBIOTICS  – RM49.90 (118ml)

Now, that dead skin cells are removed, I followed up serum-infused Clay Mask which instantly clears pores with activated Charcoal.  The charcoal will gently draw out oils and toxins without over-drying, whilst skin-balancing Probiotics refresh and clear pores.

The black color clay mask texture is similar to a denser liquid gel. There’s a light sweet scent on this clay mask. It takes about 5 minutes for the clay mask to dries up and during this period I can feel a tightening sensation on my face. After removing the mask, I noticed my skin’s purity was boosted and there’s clearer pores on my skin.

Tips: As clay mask dries up pretty fast, you’ll need to apply it quickly. Never wear a white or pastel shirt while applying this mask. Reason being during cleansing process, the black color clay mask might stain your shirt.

How To Use:

Squeeze a generous amount and quickly apply all over dry skin and neck. Wait for 5 – 10 minutes and wash it warm water.  Use twice a week.

DAY 3: REVITALIZING PEEL-OFF MASK POMEGRANATE + PEPTIDES – RM49.90 (118ml)

The past two days all the mask are washed off types. It’s time to experiment with the serum-infused peel-off gel mask. This peel-off mask contains antioxidant-rich Pomegranate that evens skin tone and refines pores. On top of that, it contains Peptides which helps to plump the skin and increase its resiliency to reveal a radiant, glowing skin.

The translucent white color gel has a watery like texture. There’s a mixture of berry scent to it which is quite similar to a cough medicine. Fret not, the scent is not unpleasant. The gel mask easily glides on the face and takes about 5 – 10 minutes to dries up.  There’s a slight tightening sensation during the waiting process. I’m amazed with the peel off mask elasticity which makes removing process so much faster. Other peel off mask I’ve tried always ended up tearing apart and take ages to remove. This is definitely one of my favorite mask from the ‘Beauty Infusion’ range as my skin radiance’s was immediately boosted and pores was definitely more refined than before.

How To Use:

Squeeze a generous amount and apply all over dry skin and neck. Wait for 5 – 10 minutes and gentle peel it off. Use twice a week.

DAY 4: HYDRATING CREAM MASK MANUKA HONEY + COLLAGEN – RM49.90 (118ml)

Now, that my skin’s pores are clearer and refined with a touch of radiance. Next step is to keep it hydrate with serum-infused cream mask. This facial mask contains Manuka Honey to soften the skin and Collagen to improve skin’s elasticity and restore smoothness.

The yellow color cream mask seems to have a thicker consistency but upon application it quickly absorbs on the skin leaving behind a fine translucent layer on the skin. I loved the honey scented mask which smells quite yummy. I apply gently all over my skin and left it for 10-15 minutes. On certain dry areas of my skin, I can feel a slight tingling sensation while the mask work to hydrate it. Definitely loving how my skin seems more hydrate and smoother than before.

How To Use:

Squeeze a generous amount and apply all over dry skin and neck. Wait for 10 – 15 minutes and gentle washed off with warm water. Use 2- 3 times a week.

DAY 5: BRIGHTENING OVERNIGHT MASK HIBISCUS + VITAMIN C – RM49.90 (114ml)

Lastly, I wrapped up my daily masking experiment with this serum-infused water gel overnight brightening mask. Especially formulated with Vitamin C to minimize dark spots and discoloration, whilst Hibiscus brightens, hydrates and improves skin tone.

The pinkish color water gel texture is easy to glide on the skin. Upon application, you can see a fine translucent layer on the skin. The divine flowery scent will make you love this product. Being an overnight mask, one will always worry about the stickiness issue. I felt this mask wasn’t that sticky compared to other overnight mask I’ve used before. Wake up the next day and gently wash off to reveal a more luminous skin.

Tips: If you’re concern that the mask will make your skin dryer, feel free to apply a thin layer of your daily night moisturizer and follow with this mask.

How To Use:

After cleansing the skin and toner. Apply this mask all over the skin. Leave overnight and wash off with warm water next day. Use twice a week.

Verdict:

After Day 5, I repeated two more days of mask between the hydrating cream mask and peel-off gel mask. Thus, I’ve actually experimented 7 days of daily masking with Freeman ‘Beauty Infusion’ range. The results is I’m saying ‘YES’ to daily masking! I felt my skin was much radiant than before. Applying makeup is also easier as my skin is smoother too. All it takes is just some effort on a daily basis to ensure a naturally glowing skin. I’m sure you’ll love how your skin feels and looks after doing it 😀
