Raise your hands up if you brighter and radiant skin! Today, I’m going to share my experiment using a new Korean beauty brand in Malaysia known as G9 Skin. Honestly, I’ve never heard of the brand before but being a beauty junkie, I’m all for trying it out!
Now, let me share the brand story of G9 with you. G9 Skin is a specially formulated anti-city pollution skincare brand from Korea, mainly focusing on removing various skin trouble factors and delivering effective ingredients to restore skin health. Ever wonder what G9 stands for? It actually means Guard 9, Good 9 and Guide 9. There’s a meaning to all those “9”, check out the description:
Guard 9
Guard the skin against 9 harmful factors: UV rays, dry environment, air pollution, stress, global warming, irregular sleep pattern, cosmetics’ harmful ingredients, thick makeup and wrong skincare habits.
Good 9
It refers to 9 good ingredients which are called G9 Complex to purify and revitalize tired skin into healthy skin — 9 plant extracts including lotus, ivy, pine sprout, eucalyptus, oregano leaf, chlorella, hibiscus, chia seed and green tea.
Guide 9
The 9 effective guides to better skin conditions: Moisture, whitening, anti-wrinkle, nutrition, elasticity, purifying, specialization on sensitive skin, pore care and UV care.
There are a few products in G9 Skin and I will be sharing my views on its star product G9 Skin White In Whipping Cream.
G9 Skin White In Whipping Cream (50g)
Seeing the product name, it’s easy to guess this is a whitening product that gives us the instant tone-up cream for moisturised porcelain skin. Staying true to its name G9 Skin White In Whipping Cream offers benefits such as tone-up, whitening, anti-wrinkle and moisturising.
The packaging of a milk carton is certainly cute and inviting with its soft pastel colors. The cream is store in a milk white jar however it doesn’t come with a spatula. The texture is a soft silky mousse that is light and easily absorbs on the skin. It finishes off with a velvety sensation that’s similar to a baby’s skin! G9 Skin White in Whipping Cream has a light baby powder scent to it which doesn’t really bothers me at all.
Apart from my face, I tested it on my hands as well. Look how my left hand skin tone is more even and radiant after applying G9 Skin White in Whipping Cream. I do feel a slight stickiness on my hands but that’s to be expected as it’s a moisturizing cream!
In a nutshell:
G9 Skin White in Whipping Cream certainly works well to provide me skin blurring effect. After application my pores are more refined and smaller. I love how it instantly brighten and even out my skin tone color as well. However, there are some downside to it. Firstly, the glowing effect doesn’t last long. Secondly, although it claims to have moisture-rich water-drop formulation, I feel the hydration effect is lacking.
