Recently, I’ve been super swamped with work to the point that my shoulders muscles are awfully knotted up. I knew that I needed a good massage. Thus, off I go for a wonderful spa time at ELYSYLE SPA 😀

Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly by my therapist. She guided me to the lounge area for a quick consultation to determine which treatment suited me best. While discussing my treatment options, they served me some light snacks to munch on. As I was feeling tense and exhaustion, my therapist recommended several of their signature spa which includes Ganbanyoku Stone Spa, NEOQI 5-in-1 and 1 hour aroma full body massage.
Ganbanyoku Stone Spa – RM138 (30 Minutes)
Elysyle is the first in Southeast Asia to have a state-of-the-art energizing stone spa fully imported from Japan. Using 3 of Japan’s most popular ore (natural rock) and gemstones to bring about differing positive benefits to the body in accordance to the user’s health. This spa is renowned for treating anxiety, aches and pains to boost the digestive and immune system.
This spa treatment requires me to remove my kimono robe. Fret not, Elysyle Spa have two energizing stone bathing rooms to accommodate the men and women separately. In here, we can choose to rest in three types of bed: for physically stressed, for emotionally stressed, for recovering from illness.
I opted for recovering from illness as I’ve got flu and cough for more than a month. Lay down on the hot stone to revitalize my body with its vibration technology. I can feel the energizing stones working its magic to improve my body blood circulation, release stress and increase mental alertness. Throughout the entire treatment, my body’s hydration remains at its optimum as the stone room has continuous water mist sprayed in. Yes, definitely felt more relaxed and invigorated after this hot stone spa.
Before continuing my next treatment, some refreshing snacks and hot tea is prepared for me to replenish my energy. Oooh…what a lovely surprise! Finishing my snacks, I proceed to the next treatment which was their signature spa treatment
NEOQI 5-in-1 – RM238 (40 Minutes)
This treatment is truly unique for it features the remarkable Balneo Capsule that incorporates five different water treatments, which collectively revitalize the mind, body and soul. They are:
- Infrared steam – relaxes and detoxifies
- Chromotherapy – restores balance within
- Vichy shower – energises
- Balneotherapy massage – calms
- Vibro-massage – stimulates
The capsule offers above-water and below water experiences. It contains a board whereby one would lie on for infrared steam, chromotherapy, vichy shower and scalp massage. The board is later removed for a vibro-massage experience to which jets of water are aimed at removing every existing tension.
Got to say, this is my favorite treatment for the day. This water treatment stands out because all of its water-based treatments are centralized within one single capsule. You don’t even need to move around at all! All you need to do is lay down and relax your mind. Watch the myriad plays of waters and lights (similar to a water fountain show) on your body. There’s a rhythmic sequence which allows your body to fully relax.
My last treatment was the aroma full body massage, using massage oil that contains highly concentrated plant oils. At Elysyle Spa, they uses high quality essential oil imported from France. You can choose from 4 different types of 100% pure natural essential oils such as relaxing Lavender, refreshing Lemongrass, Rosemary and Rose Geranium. Guess which one I choose? I went for refreshing Lemongrass as it helps me to relax and heal my illness. During the massage, the masseuse applied the essential oil on my body in order to ease away some of the tension. I truly enjoy the smooth and kneading strokes from the masseuse. In fact, I fell asleep and woke up feeling more refreshed than before. Not to mention, the tight muscles around my shoulders is loosened up as well.
WOW! The difference after the spa treatments was certainly fantastic. I felt more energized and recharged than before! To make my day even better, I got another round of light refreshments *yummy* Got to say, Elysyle Spa certainly lives up to my expectations. 🙂
