Scrumptious ‘Flavours of Mexico’ @ Impiana KLCC Hotel

This week be prepared to indulge in a Mexican feast beyond imagination with  “Flavours of Mexico” at Impiana KLCC Hotel as they presents tantalizing and sumptuous dishes by Chef Ivan Chavarria Hernandez, an international experienced Chef who has worked in famous restaurants like La Sucursal, Valencia and Spain to Motel Mexicola. He will be delighting guests with Mexican specialities such as “Crema de Frijol” (Creamy Bean Soup), “Pescado a la Veracruzana” (Fish fillet Veracruz style simmered in tomato sauce, capers, olives and capsicum or “Mole Negro Con Pollo” (Chicken in traditional black “Mole” sauce) and “Arroz Con Leche” (Mexican rice pudding) to name a few.

Enjoy the mouth-watering and delicious range of food packed with superb mixture of the original Mexican food at Cedar on 15. Presenting dishes with a depth of flavours and a combination of savoury and earthy flavours including herbs and spices giving it its distinct kick of variety of chilies include fresh, dried, smoked and pickled, alongside garlic, onions, lemons and limes oregano, coriander, cinnamon and cocoa.

Kick start with a selection of appetizers such as  “Esquites” (Steamed tender corn with sweet chili and lime), “Ensalada de jicama y betabel en aderezo de tamarindo” (Salad of Mexican turnip and beetroot in tamarind dressing) and Mini sopes con queso” (Handmade corn tortilla with lettuce, sour cream and black bean sauce)

Take a sip of “Crema de Frijol” (Creamy Bean Soup) that’s full of flavours with a dash of creamy cheese and spice breadstick.

For mains, you can try “Mole negro con pollo” (Chicken in traditional black “Mole” sauce). The “Mole” sauce is actually chocolate blended together with herbs and chili flakes to create a unique taste.

You can also opt for “Pescado a la Veracruzana” (Fish fillet Veracruz style simmered in tomato sauce, capers, olives and capsicum) that’s fresh and tangy.

Lastly, end with dessert “Flan Traditional” (Classic Mexican custard) that’s super soft and topped with generous berries.
