The past month has been filled with one Ramadan review after the other. Today’s posting, I’m sharing TEMPTationS sumptuous feast of more than 100 Malaysian favorite dishes plus typical traditional dishes normally enjoyed during the buka puasa. This year TEMPTationS is also offering diners a special feast with the king of fruits – durian, in buffet style.
Start your berbuka puasa with all-time favourites such as Gado-gado, Rojak buah, Pasembor, assorted crackers and pickled fruits. There’s also the Roasted whole lamb with percik sauce and grilled vegetable along with the must-have Bubur lambuk as well.
I love the live action stations, where dishes includes à la Kampung style ikan bakar accompanied by hot and spicy sauces and juicy chicken and beef satays with its classic peanut sauce is extremely delicious. The noodle station offers four variety of Laksa, get a taste of Laksa Johor, Laksa Penang, Laksa Kelantan or Nyonya Laksa here.
At the local selection, you’ll find authentic dishes such as kerabu, jeruk and sambal to tantalized your taste bud. Plate it together with the various types of specially prepared rice available such as Nasi minyak, Nasi hujan panas and Nasi bukhari and served it with an array of gulai for the hint of spiciness.
A meal would not be complete without a sweet ending. The dessert selection is filled with a variety of assorted Malay kuih, whole cakes, puddings and ice cream.
The finale of the meal is to end it with a feast with king of fruits – durian and we had tons of D24 durian that night. Sweet and yummy, my favourite fruit.
