Imported from Okinawa, Japan; the Sea Grapes is rich in omega 3, vitamins and minerals. I just loved the uniqueness of the sauce which makes this Yee Sang so delectable!

Next, we have Steamed King Tiger Grouper with Superior Black Garlic Soya Sauce. OMG…the fish is huge and fresh. Pair it with the flavorful black garlic soya sauce and the sweetness of the dish is elevated! It’s my first time trying black garlic and it taste just like black beans *lolx*. Truly one of the best steam fish I had ever tasted!
Deep Fried Prawns with Lychee Sauce
I loved prawns and this dish is called Deep Fried Prawns with Lychee Sauce. Huge, juicy perfectly deep fried prawns that’s crispy on the outside and tender inside. Covered in sweet and fresh lychee sauce, is really fantastic!
Simmered Fresh Chinese Yam with Crab Roe Gravy
Here’s something nutritious Simmered Fresh Chinese Yam with Crab Roe Gravy. Drizzled with a dash of spring onions for that extra fresh crunch. Quite an interesting dish!

Another highlight dish is the Truffle sauce fried rice with dried sakura shrimp, crabmeat and diced French bean. Loved the fluffiness and flavorsome fried rice. I’m sure Uncle Roger will applaud this fried rice *wink*
Chilled Snow Bird’s Nest with Aloe Vera in Osmanthus Oolong Tea Syrup and Deep Fried Sweet Purple Potato “ninko”
All meals must end with desserts. That night ended perfectly with Chilled Snow Bird’s Nest with Aloe Vera in Osmanthus Oolong Tea Syrup and Deep Fried Sweet Purple Potato “ninko”. Sooth my throat with the chilled and nourishing bird nest , whilst munching on sweet deep fried purple potato is the best combination! Both paired well together and not too sweet.I loved it!
I’ve got to say, the dishes are pretty amazing and creative. Kudos to Chef Wong Lian You and Chef Lo Tian Sion for coming up with these healthy and delicious Chinese New Year dishes!
