Yeah! My favorite online site Althea has introduced a new range of beauty products last month. It’s known as the A’bloom range which consists of Refreshing Skin Mask Pack, BHA Blackhead Blaster and cute Meringue Puffs! This is all the pampering your skin needs have that peachy glowing look *wink*
A’bloom Refreshing Skin Mask Pack
Raised your hands up if you loved fruity scented mask! A’bloom refreshing skin masks pack have strong antioxidant with harmony of fruits and natural ingredients of plants that provides custom care solution for each skin type. There’s a mask to suit different concerns such as hydration, nutrition, whitening and blemishes.
The sheet masks are made out of 100% natural eco-friendly fabric to effectively deliver the efficacy of the rich fruits essence and the essences are formulated with reduced viscosity that are available in creams. PH balancing helps strengthens skin barrier as well as re-charge the skin with fresh energy.
There’s 4 fruity mask available as below:
- Watermelon Moist Pack – Contains 92% water and lavender extract which sooths skin during hot weather. Offer maximum hydration to the skin.
- Peach AC Control Mask – Helps control oil and water balance of skin. It contains tea tree extract which sterilize and helps take care of trouble spots and pores.
- Avocado Nourishing Mask – Mix with hibiscus flower extract that contains Antocyanin , an antioxidant to prevent the skin from aging. Offers elasticity to our skin.
- Lemon Lime Whitening Mask – This mask contains green tea extract which is also rich in vitamin C ingredient to assist in controlling melanin production and skin care.
How to use:
- Gently clean your skin with toner after washing the face.
- Open the pouch and remove the film, then apply the sheet mask on face properly and leave it for 10-20 minutes.
- Take off the mask and gently pat the residue essence until fully absorb
Verdict:
First of all, don’t you think the mask packaging is super cute? I loved the thinly sheet mask that adheres to the skin. The mask pack is filled with serumy essence and the scents are amazing. There’s a touch of sweetness, citrusy and fruity scents in each mask. From the 4 refreshing mask pack, my favourite is Watermelon Moist Pack. Why? My skin feels super moisturized after using it. The only con is the sheet mask is slightly too big for my face *lolx*
A’bloom BHA Blackhead Blaster
A’bloom BHA Blackhead Blaster is an easy and quick triple treatment for blackheads, whiteheads and dead skin for daily care. It contains natural ingredients to help gently deep cleanse the pores and removing dead skin cells while preventing any irritations or redness on the skin.
Natural BHA ingredient helps to deep pore cleanse by exfoliating the dead skin cells. Whilst Apricot seed powder helps to remove excessive sebum and Charcoal will absorb the dirt in the pores. Lastly, there’s Tea tree leaf oil helps to soothe as well as prevent any redness and irritations on the skin
How to use:
- Dampened the skin
- Apply the stick directly on targeted areas and massage in circular motions for 30 seconds.
- After that, rinse off with water.
Verdict:
Kudos, to the Althea team in designing a product to beat blackhead, whiteheads and dead skin in 1 unique product. The packaging is similar to a lipstick and comes with a protective cap to ensure cleanliness. It’s easy to use, just twist the BHA Blackhead Blaster and apply onto damn skin for 30 seconds. I tried it on my nose area (which is usually congested with blackheads & whiteheads). The texture is creamy but once applied on damp skin, it turns slightly watery. I like the tea tree scent while the product works gently on my skin. After using, my nose feels smoother and it was much easier to extract those impurities. I also felt less dead skin on my face. However, do note you’ll need to wipe off the product’s excess on the side with tissue to ensure it stays clean.
A’bloom Meringue Puffs
Beauty blenders is one of the best beauty innovation in the market. Inspired by baking meringue cookies, Althea has designed two different types of cute lovely pastel color Meringue Puff. The meringue puffs are made out of non-latex sponge with hydrophilic properties which will grow 1.5 times bigger than normal size when soaked with water allowing makeup to be applied perfectly on the skin.
There are two sizes available as below:
- Giant Meringue Puff (1pcs) – Apply makeup quickly and easily with the giant meringue puff with 1.5 times bigger in size than an ordinary puff.
- Baby Meringue Puff (3 pcs)– Apply makeup with detailed edges of mini-sized sponge puff to achieve fine and flawless skin
How to use:
- Moist and glossy skin makeup when the puff is soaked with water
- Matte and Flawless skin makeup when the puff is not soaked with water
Verdict:
No one can resist these pastel cutie meringue puffs. Made from non-latex sponge and hydrophilic properties, the puffs are bouncy and soft to apply onto the skin. This puff can be used either dry or wet. I prefer wet as I like the moist, glossy skin look. Loved it for my skin looks flawless each time. Used the giant meringue puff for quick and smooth makeup application on wide surface while the baby meringue puff will provide fine and detailed makeup application on small surface of the skin with its pointed tips.
