Being a klangnite, the norm ‘Berbuka Puasa’ locations are usually fast food, mamak and local bazaar. Since, the last two years a lot more reputable hotels has opened in Klang/Shah Alam and Best Western, i-city is one of it. This Ramadan, Best Western, i-city will be serving a variety of popular and classic Malay dishes that will set your taste buds ablaze.
Whet your appetite with a bowl of Gado Gado or the varieties of Kerabus available. There’s also the Rojak Buah which contains pink guava, guava, pineapples tossed with nuts and rojak sauce that’s extremely crunchy to munch on.
We also had some of the tasty Malay cuisine for mains that includes Bubur Lambuk, Ayam Masak Merah, Aya, Goreng Berempah, Fish Curry, Sayur Nangka Masak Lemak and Nasi Tomato.
Some Chinese dishes were made available as well such as Egg Foo-Yong, Stir-Fried Kailan with Oyster Sauce and several others. (do note the dishes served today is not the full menu). From 7th June onwards, more varieties of food will be added such as live action stations featuring Noodle Stalls and BBQ section.
The Roast Lamb is a definite must try item, tender and perfectly grilled. Do try it with the mint and black pepper sauce.
Being a sweet tooth lover, I was not disappointed as the varieties include traditional Malay Kuih, Sago, Puddings and tempting sweet cakes. The Malay Kuih comes highly recommended!
