I can’t believe that I’ve been blogging close to 4 years. OMG…where has the years gone by? I started my blog as a hobby and its a great way to meet new friends who shared the same interest as I do. If you’re a follower of my blog, you’ll realize my interest lies in topics related to beauty, parenting and lifestyle.
As a novice, I joined Butterfly Project Malaysia . Its a community for beauty & lifestyle bloggers, where bloggers in pursuit and passion shares their personal interests, experiences and reviews gathered and create content together. I’m glad I joined this community, for there’s always great tips and workshops held for community members to participate.
This year, for the first time ever I attended Butterfly Project 6th Anniversary Birthday Bash! Our birthday bash theme was garden floral and hence I bought myself a new floral (flowy) dress to attend the event held at Vilej Damansara Event Space.
The moment, I stepped into the event space, I was blown away with the amazing floral decor and for a moment I thought I was attending a garden wedding. Everyone was dressed up for the occasion and it was great to meet new and familiar faces in the crowd. My first pit stop was the selfie zone area set up by Blossom Balloons
Apart from the super instagrammable decor, another thing that caught my attention was the gorgeous decorated refreshment area. Delicious light snacks and pastries set with a spring floral theme, Jom Party Malaysia.
Once, seated on my table, I quickly introduced myself and get acquainted with the bloggers (community members). After a speech by founder Ms. Tammy Lim, we lighted our cupcakes and toss to the birthday celebration!
We proceeded to watched the first highlight performance . Yeah! Its the Queen Of Comedy , Ms. Joanne Kam Po Po. She had all of us laughing so hard at her bawdy jokes and I loved every minute of it!
After the delightful comedy sketch, its time to test our creativity. Take a guess what’s our next activity… We are doing DIY Flower Crown workshop guided by the amazing florists from Avantgarde Blooms
After finishing our fun activity, we had light refreshments and enjoy a cup of tea too. I love the refreshing chill passion fruity tea by T-Sticks Malaysia. It’s so easy to enjoy a cup of tea, just open the plastic and put the sachet (T-sticks) in a cup of hot water. Wait for for 5 – 10 minutes for the aromatic tea scent to set and enjoy it.

The birthday celebration ended with award presentation to best dressed winners. There were 3 winners and they walked away with amazing prizes. Congratulations to the special 3 ladies!

It was truly an amazing fun day celebrating Butterfly Project 6th Anniversary Birthday Bash! Glad, I attended and meet so many new friends during the event! Thanks to the hardwork from Butterfly Project Community Committee and sponsors for creating such a memorable party for us.
