With Christmas around the corner, you’re probably planning a Christmas gathering with all your loves ones. If you have not booked a venue yet, you should check out Signature at The Roof. The special dinner menu comes with a choice of ONE MAIN and enjoys sumptuous BUFFET spread featuring salad bar, turkey station, a decadent selections of desserts. I was recently invited to review the menu and here’s a peak of the scrumptious feast I’ve had.
A big thanks to Wilson Ng from PlacesandFood for sharing the photos with me as my camera failed me that night. Before we kick start our meal, we ordered Signature at The Roof’s infamous watermelon slush with alcohol.
After taking a few sips of the refreshing and heady watermelon slush, we’re more than ready for our dinner to be served. Introducing their Christmas Cocktail, a combination of Macadamia syrup, amaretto, red wine and rum. Sweet and fruity it reflects the joy of Christmas.
Next, we had Homemade Pumpkin Soup that’s make with yellow onion, ginger, carrot and thyme. Totally loved the generous portion of thread size ginger topping for it alleviates the taste of the soup. Sweet with a tinge of ginger spiciness, perfectly well-balanced.
Following suit, we had Nicoise salad that comes with mix salad, mini French bean, quail egg and red tuna. Truly well-seasoned.
There are four mains available on the menu and and we tasted all of them. Mains selections includes:
Spinach & Cheese Ravioli that’s served with duck ragout in truffle and porchini sauce. Ravioli was al-dente and porchini sauce was to die for.
The Chicken Roulade is stuffed with bell peppers, foie gras and cheese. Sides include truffle mash with generous portion of cranberry sauce. The chicken is well cooked with crispy skin which goes really well with the cranberry sauce.
My favourite is Beef Tenderloin that comes with creamy spinach and buttered prawn. Juicy and succulent, its perfectly cooked at medium rare. Each bite makes my palate yearn for more.
Lastly is Pan Seared Cod served with seafood stew on a bed of nutmeg spinach. Loved the freshness of the seafood and the cod is pan seared to perfection.
For desserts, we have fruits panna cotta. Smooth with creamy texture and fruity flavour, it’s irresistible!
The Signature at The Roof Christmas dinner is only at RM 168++ per pax and it’s definitely worth it. Only available during Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, go ahead and try it for yourself!
