Last year, evo® a popular salon product at fashionable hairdressers available across Australia and America was launched in Malaysia. This year they’re back to introduce a more extensive collection of their hairstyling and haircare tools. Born from a desire to produce an exclusive salon range, evo® is an innovative, professional hair and beauty products manufacture with individuality and integrity. What’s so good about this product? evo® is a luxurious product that is free from sulphate, paraben, dea, tea and propylene glycol. Giving you professional result while respecting the environment. The packaging is created with a minimalist look featuring photographic imagery with a great visual impact outcome. On top of that, evo®’s packaging is 100% recyclable!
Before the event began we were treated to a candy bar with a dreamy chocolate fountain. Besides that, we can also take a turn at the ‘spin-the-wheel’ corner whilst checking out the amazing hairstyling and haircare products from evo® . Now, it’s time for the amazing hair show.

We were welcome to the familiar faces of Grant & Jay whom flew in all the way from Australia to share evo® products to us. The hair show kick start with models showcasing their vibrant newly coloured hair using the evo fabuloso® product range which consists of the evo fabuloso® colour enhancing conditioners and evo faboloso® pro™. However, this year the highlight is on the hairstyling products and haircare tools. As we watched, Grant (the trainer from Australia) demonstrating hair styling on his models, we also get a whiff of the products which carries a beautiful lemony sea ocean scent. The products have got quirky names and I recalled some of it as follows:
- Salty dog – A mist designed to give your hair salty, beach soft texture and fullness with soft matt finishing.
- Haze – A styling powder to add volume and texture
- Shebang-a-bang – Styling spray with ultra-fine mist designed to create texture, separation and style control with a satin finish.
There was also a haircut session where Grant showcased his professional edgy haircut skills to follow by using evo haircare professional tools. Some of my favourite haircare tools during the event was:
- Conrad – A bristle paddle brush for daily grooming to help maintain and smooth hair.
- Roy – A detangling comb used to detangle and evenly distribute treatments and styling products on hair. If used on damp hair it’ll add more natural waves and deep ridges.
- Tyler – Teasing brush use for teasing, back-brushing, and styling.
- Mister Fantastic – Hair bungee to hold long hair without ripping or pulling hair out.

I tried the Conrad brush on my hand and I love it bristle texture. As for the hairstyling product I would definitely go for the Haze which is extremely lightweight and non-sticky. I just can’t wait for the products to hit the salons to grab some of the items I’ve got my eyes on. More information can be found on evo®Malaysia’s Facebook Page
