(Movie Review) Sisters

SISTERS

After the great success of Pitch Perfect, I’ve always wondered what’s the next film director Jason Moore is working on. Look no further as ‘Sisters’ is set to become his next hit wonder. A chick flick that’s guarantee to have you rolling in laughter.

Movie Synopsis:

Two disconnected sisters (starring Tina Fey & Amy Poehler) are summoned home to clean out their childhood bedroom before their parents sell the family house.  Looking to recapture their glory days, they throw one final high-school-style party for their classmates, which turns into the cathartic rager that a bunch of ground-down adults really need.

SISTERS

This movie certainly remains me of myself and my sister. Except in here Tina Fey (the elder sister) is the wild party girl and Amy Poehler (the younger sister) is the responsible and prim one. Pairing Tina Fey & Amy Poehler was a great choice for their on-screen chemistry as sisters seems so real. The light easy banter and sisterly advise between these two ladies was superb. I laughed real hard at all their ‘dirty little jokes’ and fashion faux as well. Kudos to director Jason Moore for being able to bring back the glory of our high school days via this film. A interesting and enjoyable chick flick, so gather the ladies and head there to catch this in cinemas today!
